Building in Andalucia
Since 2003 there has been a ban on any building of houses or any kind of living quarters in the countryside, that is on land classified as  " rustic ", even doing reforms or extensions is extremely limited. However ,small agricultral buildings are usually permitted.

Building licences are currently being granted for " urban " land , which in general is within the towns and villages.
